Looking Forward to a New Season...

There's just something about a change of seasons that is, for me, so renewing. Doesn't matter what the season is-- it signals a change and new activities to look forward to.

I'm particularly fond of fall. I love to watch the trees change color. I love the scent of the crisp fall air, redolent with the aroma of woodsmoke and the promise of cooler weather.

Take a gander at the picture below... isn't that a great picture? I'm thinkin' it would be a wonderful setting for a novel. What do you think is going on in this pic?
