So, four weeks ago, I went and bought a Shih Tzu puppy. I'd seen the ad in the paper, and I went to see the puppies. Male puppies.
So, fast forward a couple weeks. We're settling in with the puppy, Pikachu, and enjoying life with a puppy. The boys and puppy bonded. Mr. Laura and the puppy bonded, and I bonded with the puppy. We'd praise him, telling him he was a good boy.
Mr. Laura makes the startling announcement that he thinks our boy puppy is a girl puppy. I said, "The breeder said it's a boy." Mr. Laura sighed and commented about how if Pikachu is a boy, then he's got the smallest boy parts ever invented. I countered with the comment that not everyone is blessed with huge you-know-whats. He sighed again.
That all changed today. I took Pikachu to the vet for the first puppy shots. Doctor checked the puppy, feeling the dog for size and then said, "I have some good news and I have some bad news. The good news is other than being a little underweight, the puppy is fine. The bad news is, this isn't a boy puppy. It's a girl."
Any guesses as to how long I'll have to listen to "Didn't I tell you? Why don't you listen to me? Nobody ever listens to me. I told you so."????
I'm guessing it will be Forever.
