Amelia, The New Dorothy

Once upon a time, there was an author named Amelia Elias. Amelia wrote paranormal romances that were hot, hot, hot.

One day, when Amelia was feeling lonely and blue, she decided to engage in some self-destructive attention-getting behavior.

Yes, astonishing but true.

You see, Amelia lives in Texas and was under a tornado watch yesterday. She took her kids to her parents house, but forgot her dog and cat. Worried her dog and cat would go to Oz without her, Amelia mounted a heart-racing rescue attempt.

On her way back with her cat, Pharoah, Amelia was blown off her steps, and again tossed around by the wind as she valiantly struggled to save her precious furbaby from the horror of being serenaded by the Munchkins.

Amazingly, Amelia and Pharoah survived their encounter with the tornado. Pharoah showed his appreciation by being a purring snuggle furball and Amelia lived to hear her family read her the riot act in all 10 parts.

And they all lived happily ever after.

The End.

You forgot... I rescued my little dog, too.

... okay, so Simi's not a little dog. She's an 80# German Shepherd. But still, she'll always be my baby.

Amelia, bruised but unbowed
