A day in the life of a romance author, from the mundane to the crazy. From family life to writing life. And sometimes, my opinion, which often isn't noted for being very humble.

Nifty, Special Art From a Friend...
I have a very, very, dear friend in Australia who asked me a few weeks ago if I'd be willing to accept a delivery for merchandise she wanted to order from an American company, and in return for mailing her purchase to her, she'd send me artwork done by her oldest son. I picked it up from the post office today and stood there like a real goof, hugging the mailing tube. When I got home, I opened it up, unrolled the painting and cried. It's absolutely breathtaking. I know practically nothing about Aboriginal artwork, other than I've always found it fascinating and never thought I'd own something this spectacular. This piece is entitled "Dreaming" and boy, is it ever a dream.

How gorgeous is that?
Hi ya'll!
Glad you came to take a look at my The Artwork From Australia. I can't wait to have it framed and hanging on a wall for all to see.
Jennie, you're a doll for sharing this with me. Many smooshes and hugs. This ranks right up there in the top 5 gifts I've ever received.
