Sad Saturday

Wow.

Whitney Houston has passed away. I genuinely hope she's found the peace that eluded her in this life. My heart breaks for her daughter, who isn't much older than my oldest son. The true tragedy here is that the demon that dogged her - drugs - won, wearing out her poor body and soul. Her marvelous voice was a true blessing to the world. Rest in peace, Whitney - the world is a bit emptier today, but the choir of angels is surely sounding sweet.
